More than three decades ago, a father and son founded Tew Construction with one goal in mind - building quality homes for sale. By working as a trim carpenter a majority of his adult life, Rex Tew garnered vast experience and numerous contacts in the construction industry.

His son, Pete, worked beside his father during his teen years and then went to college where he earned two degrees - one in accounting and one in business.
